We’ve reached the halfway mark of year One. Time does not slow down. Everything is happening so quickly. It’s as though someone hit the fast-forward button. Not the full-on fast-forward, but the 1.5X. I’m not being hyperbolic when I say this. Sofia has graduated from lechita and some brown rice cereal here and there, to fruits and veggies! So far we can cross the following off as being S.J. approved: avocados, sweet potato, carrots, and cauliflower (she cheated when she ate banana – I don’t recall who fed her).
Although, she has two visible teeth, she obviously can’t use them to chew. She uses those two, to bite my finger and hurt her mum. Back to the food…we puree her veggies and she scarfs them down no questions asked. Who would have thought…avocado. I can’t stand avocado! Her diaper has gone from being mustard colored to matching the veggies she eats. For example, today’s poop was orange and green! This totally beats the sticky black colored stool she had when he was as newborn (meconium)!
Next: Sippy Cups

you don’t like avocados?!?!?!
It’s awful I know.
